Crime stoppers tip leads to identity of male involved in a theft

In October 2021 police commenced an investigation into a theft from a retail store where a large amount of items were stolen. To assist in identity, police put the male suspects’ photo on their facebook page. A crime stoppers tip came in with a name of this individual. Investigation continued and on December 8th 2021 24 year old Lawson Penny was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000. He was later released on conditions with a later court date.

Breach charges laid      

On the 8th of December 2021 during a theft investigation, police identified a male on surveillance who was not to attend that business due to previous theft charges. A 51 year old male was arrested for breach of his release order and breach of probation. He was later released on conditions.
